!±8± Bed Frame Project

This is a bed frame I designed and built for my new apartment in Lafayette, LA. It has 30-inch wide drawers for clothes or whatever and will soon have a headboard and footboard. So far it has cost me about for wood and hardware. Of course, I will stain and seal it for a finished look and create the end pieces to be bolted on (thus bringing the tab up to likely 0). I used wood screws for the angle iron braces on the bed sides and bolts on the cross beams, so that the frame can easily be taken down and reassembled time and again. Obviously the box spring laying on top is not a part of the frame I'm making and is still in a plastic bag because I will be moving it again in a few days to go to LA.
